Gathering all agro and bio based entrepreneurs under one roof, BioUsahawan 2019 was a good stage for us to market our products either in local or foreign marketplace. The event was graced by Deputy Minister of Agriculture (MOA), Sim Tse Tzin on behalf of Minister of Agriculture, Dato Salahuddin Bin Ayub. Parts of the content of the event were the launching of bio-based products and BioEconomy Community Development Project (BCDP) 2.0. This event was a strategic entrepreneurial platform to enhance Malaysian agricultural sector towards becoming more modern, sustainable and competitive.
BioEconomy Corporation has chosen to plant Revotropix Paulownia under BioEconomy Community Development Project (BCDP) 2.0. Bioeconomy Corp will provide support, monitoring and selection of participants to our company in carrying out the BCDP project.
More than 100 booths and 80 companies were involved in BioUsahawan 2019, featuring exhibitions, business matching, presentation of business ideas and financing opportunities as well as panel sessions, including talk by MOA Secretary-General, Dato ‘Mohd Sallehhuddin Bin Hassan titled “Food Safety and Opportunity in Agrofood “.
