Visit by Suruhanjaya Koperasi Malaysia
On 5 February 2020, Green Afforestation International Network Sdn Bhd (Gain Green) hosted a visit by Suruhanjaya Koperasi Malaysia (The Malaysian Cooperative Commission) for assessment on the Revotropix Paulownia Forest Plantation Project. The team is led by Mr. Zainuddin Bin Ali, Director of Terengganu Branch and accompanied by Pn. Nor Maizatul Akmal Ja’afar, Selangor Deputy Director. Gain Green aims to forging closer collaboration relationship with multi-racial cooperatives and village communities to improve economic status of the community nationwide, utilizing idle land and creating income source simultaneously while helping the nation to green the environment.

Visit by Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM)
On 29 January 2020, Dr. Wan Asma Ibrahim, Director of Forest Products Division, Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM) and his team members visited our plant tissue culture lab to understand the propagation process of Revotropix Paulownia (RevoTP1) seedlings. The lab tour was led by Gain Green’s CEO, Mr. EL Law.

Publication of Revotropix Paulownia in Gagasan Koperasi
On 23 January 2020, a news coverage by Gagasan Koperasi, a magazine published by Suruhanjaya Koperasi Malaysia (SKM) on Revotropix Paulownia (RevoTP 1) for community development under collaborative efforts of cooperatives in Malaysia. The article reported the potential of Revotropix Paulownia (RevoTP 1) as a new source of lucrative income. Koperasi Peniaga-Peniaga Atas Talian Selangor Berhad (KOPPAT) as project facilitator has been involved in planting of RevoTP1 in Negeri Sembilan and is working hard to promote among other corporative in others states across Malaysia.

New Revotropix Paulownia Plant Tissue Culture Lab Established in Indonesia
Green Afforestation International Network Sdn Bhd (Gain-Green) has a joint venture project on Revotropix Paulownia Plantation to develop 1500 acres land in Indonesia. A plant tissue culture lab is duly set up on 14 December 2019 to cater for production of Revotropix Paulownia (RevoTP 1) seedlings. “This has marked the beginning of Gain Green stepping its foot hold in Indonesia market by establishment of tissue culture production lab of Revotropix Paulownia plant seedling”, said CEO of Gain Green.
